Kari Bedford has been creating authentic, timeless portraits since 1999. She sees each portrait session as an opportunity to combine her natural curiosity about people with her love of visual storytelling.

Kari is a mother of two daughters. She loves to empower girls and women through photography — both as a photographer and an educator. In 2015, she founded Girls in Focus — documentary photography workshops for teen girls.
